Brandi“I think a good icebreaker for a distinct subset of people is: “Which Wes Anderson movie do you most identify with?” I found myself laughing almost completely alone at many scenes in the theater when I saw this on screen. As someone who felt unseen and/or not understood by their parents, it resonated in a way that was both funny and poignant. Still my fave Wes Anderson movie to this day. The soundtrack is on point as well.”

Ali LaBelle“I've soured on Wes Anderson a bit over the years — I think his last few films have almost been so gratuitously Wes Anderson that they've completely lost the plot. The Royal Tenenbaums still rules them all.”
