The tension between success and innovation, the unpredictability of inspiration, the beauty in odd couplings, and the stranger than fiction nature of the business world. Beyond having some of the most astounding set pieces, genuinely hilarious dialogue and beautifully stylized visuals — it's just fun in a way that we try to make our work and working relationships.”

But I love the whole cartoonish look and feel of it, Tim Robbins is perfectly cast as the naive protagonist, Jennifer Jason Leigh brings the 1930s screwball His Girl Friday energy, and Paul Newman is entertainingly, cigar-chompingly villainous. I even like the out-of-nowhere hard left turn that happens near the end.”
