“Modular kings! Ulrich Schaerer Münsingen was originally founded in 1885 as a hardware and lock business but transformed in a major way with the arrival of architect Fritz Haller in 1961, who was hired to design a new factory and office building. Inspired by Haller’s steel construction system, he and Paul Schaerer conceptualized what would become the USM Haller Collection, a range of modular furniture designed to adapt and evolve with changing cultural and functional demands. The world of credenzas was never the same.
Almost everything you can get from USM is chromed steel frames and powder-coated steel panels. Super sleek, super sturdy and super customizable. USM the world as far as I'm concerned.”
