Emily Katz“I love to travel, and have been to many places around the world, but right now there’s something about the idea of being a tourist in your own town that appeals to me. I’ve lived in Portland since the early 90s, grew up here, and can say that the sense of community and art and culture are feeling vibrant and alive here the food scene is top-notch with chefs, making creative seasonal. Farm sourced real delicious food. The fashion is fun and funky and great secondhand of at all levels of prices. There are great places to stay and incredible nature is just a stones throw away. I vote for Portland and love calling this place home. And if Portland isn’t your home come visit. But if it is,, find a few places that you’ve always wanted to visit in other cities and think about about What a day as a tourist in Portland might feel like. Take public transit! Go to an art gallery. Check out that new Matcha spot that everyone’s been buzzing about. Eat at a nice wine bar, there’s so many delightful places to discover around the corner from where you live.”
