“One of our favorite places to wander, just one town over from Mystic on the Groton side of the bridge. We usually skip the museum & just explore the grounds. Beautiful stonework, old fort walls, little paths & tunnels, and plenty of nature to roam. Water views It's free, never feels crowded & is perfect for a slow afternoon outing with a small child and a pup.”
