“I had a work trip to Rome earlier this year that we turned into a spring-break family vacation, and for the touristing part I was looking for some daypacks that would also fit within the bag-size restrictions of places like the Vatican Museums (which are apparently not enforced all that often, but anyway better safe than sorry). Even separate from the anti-theft features (like grommets to prevent the zippers from being surreptitiously opened too easily, and RFID blocking on the central pockets), these are just great little backpacks in general—nice materials and construction and the perfect size, not too large but also more than big enough to hold what we needed when we were heading out for the day. Even now that we’re back, if I’m heading off somewhere with, say, a laptop and some reading material and the like, one of these is what I go for.
(The image here gives a good idea of the size, but it looks like for some reason they discontinued these nice sand-colored ones—which is what we have—and only currently have it in Batman black.)”
