Coco Quizon“I love crying. I try to do it twice a day in short bursts. Almost feels like emotional hygiene and indulgent at the same time. I find it so luxurious! Dabbing tears away? So chic!!”

clownmommy“i used to be so proud about never crying but that was just years of training myself not to allow myself to do it. now i cry at the most random stuff and it feels soooo good. i just cried when nene came out during ultimate girls trip. i cry every time i watch those high school kids in the talent show do the “here it goes again” choreo. yes i still mostly cry when im alone but im learning! (and you kinda look really pretty after a good cry)”

Dylan“After years of repressing my emotions and pretending not to be sensitive (so sad to think I thought being vulnerable with my feelings was an unattractive quality!), my gawwdddd it feels so good to have a big old cry! The impact of being on SSRIs for half my life is TOO REAL so when I CAN finally have a good cry, it feels like my body has performed some sort of ~impossible miracle~ which tbh I think is all the more reason to savour the teary times! What a gorgeous indulgence! Let those salty droplets flow freely from the eyeball! Allow yourself to feel all the feels! It's a cleansing ritual! It's a cathartic release! It's a reminder that, actually, yeah, I do give a shit! About lots of things! See also: crowd sourced crying (a playlist to accompany your weeping)”
