“Okay, so first off, this has zero connection to the classic 90s movie outside of the fact that it does in fact feature all the events in the title, it’s about a cast of friends in London, and it has Andie MacDowell in it (as a different character!). But it’s fizzy, it’s charming, and the central romance between Maya and Kash (Nikesh Patel again! SO hot.) is believable. I love the cast of friends and it’s cozy in the same way that the 90s movie was, while being updated to remind you that — in fact — many, many people in London are not white, hah.”
