Cared for by volunteers from the SF Dahlia Society, who also run the Annual Dahlia Show (also free!) every August at the Hall of Flowers next to the Botanical Garden.”

Anisha“Truly a magical place. The dahlia society members are a constant presence and are so happy to share information with visitors. It’s fun hearing about all of the different jobs the members have, and they have so many fascinating stories to share (the dahlia named “for Robin” Williams!). I never knew how many different varieties of dahlias there were!”

Ellen“Dahlias are obviously gorgeous and the garden has so many incredible varieties, but one of the best things about it is just the fact that there are always people there just to look at photograph and admire the flowers. It’s so pure and so fun and so lovely to go there and just exist with nature and humanity and feel good about everything for one goddamn minute.”
