Wedge Salad Recipe

“This is quite possibly the best salad and that is coming from someone who really loves salads. I also LOVE blue cheese. This dish has it all - the crunchy, watery iceberg lettuce, bacon (speaks for itself), and funky, flavorful cheese. Just a genius combo. I order one almost every time it’s on a menu, but I think it’s a particularly perfect summer salad. The crunchiness is so refreshing and is a perfect contrast to the richness of the dressing. I personally think more blue cheese is always better so sometimes I put extra crumbles on top or just use significantly more blue cheese than the dressing recipe calls for. I think toasted almond batons are great on this too (especially if you’re not a bacon person). I’ve put a tart apple on too with tasty results. I am trying to turn these into a thanksgiving tradition at my house too. I can’t ever get enough wedge salad!”
