HarrisonFirst to rec“10/10 by far one of the most enjoyable, fun, entertaining, and hilarious books I’ve read in years I couldn’t put down”
Julia“Perfectly unserious summer reading that is easy to tear through. Beware of the rabid fan base who will (politely) interrupt your reading to tell you much they love the series.”

Josh Elman“One of the most fun sci-fi post apocalypse books which you live through as a game that I have read in a long time. Couldn’t put it down.”

Joy Fowlkes“This is a very simple gift to throw in the mix that will make a tough time feel a little easier. It’s just really fun and funny. I have yet to meet someone who didn’t love the first book (snobs included).”

Jacob“This series is a freakin’ masterpiece. The creativity and world building is next level. And it’s laugh-out-loud funny. Seriously, people think I’m insane.”

travis duong“i’ve been listening to this series throughout work. genuinely amazing voice acting — brings a new element of storytelling into the medium.”

Joe“Reading these books is like watching martial arts movies or opera: they require you to learn how they work in order to enjoy them. At first blush they don’t sound fun, or even intelligible, and be prepared to bounce off of the beginning a time or two. That said, when you learn the rules of this brand new genre (and the genre rules include multiple chapter explanations of literal rules) they are delightful.”

Evan Buddle“Kind of basic but SO good. As a dungeon master, I appreciate this. Am blowing through the series on audible.”
2
Spencer“I found out this book is on BookTok and I really hate myself for loving it as much as I am right now. I don’t even have TikTok. This book lives up to its hype.”

Zach“I haven’t had this much fun reading in a long time. I couldn’t wait to knock down pages of this series once I started.”

Going Analog“This has no category. This book is the analog RPG game. It’s hilarious, completely crazy and a wild ride. For the cat fan alone, just give it a chance. 😸”

Mo Chinn“Post apocalyptic alien video game filled with dark humor and dripping with satirical modern day relevance. Could put it down.”

Lilli“Hilarious.Timely. It felt like reading HP when I was a kid (before we knew, iykyk)”

Carly“How to describe this book? Earth is demolished and only a few thousand people are left alive and transported to a dungeon that is a reality tv show. It is an epic fantasy novel that feels unique with world building, action, and characters are so good that I'm already on the third book. Check it out!”

Ella McMahan“Like hunger games with a bit more fantasy thrown in- flew through this and already 3/4 of the way through the second- apparently the series will be 10 books in total and a show adaptation is in the works!!!”

Kirstin VanSkiver“I’m only 100 pages in but I was laughing out loud reading this on the plane and so I feel it’s safe to already recommend it”

Francis Louis“Incredible series that has taken me out of my reading slump. On the surface, a funny and entertaining story, but as you dive deeper, you’ll be full of raw emotion.”

Laela“If you want to read something that is simultaneously a criticism of geopolitics, capitalism, and imperialism that's masquerading as potty dick humor and a talking cat, you need to read this. Immediately!”
Allison“Yes, I was concerned that this was a boy book, but I’ve actually really enjoyed it! Adventure, comedy, a talking cat…lots of good stuff in this one.”
Colt fry“A funny, inventive, and surprisingly heartfelt series of books.”
Hillary Johnson“This book has become my entire personality. Unique concept, dark humor and a cat named Princess Donut. What else could you need?”
Natasha Feldman“If knowing there is a pet dinosaur named Mongo in this doesn't get you going, this book series probably isn't for you. So funny and of the times.”
Rayne“Evangelizing this series from my own personal pulpit. Everyone loves it. You will too. Audible highly recommended.”
