    “Ichitucknee, Weeki Wachi, Crystal River, the list can go on forever. You hear about the Everglades, but somehow you never hear that Florida is flowing with spring water. Underground interconnected limestone caves span the state of Florida with natural, crystal clear spring water seeping from within and out to creeks and rivers until they meet the ocean. Near the coasts, the mix of spring and ocean water creates habitat for manatees—gentle, sweet marine cow-like giants. You can and should kayak, paddle board, or swim in one or more of these enchanted spring-fed rivers. (Note: Consider NOT drinking bottled water from these springs: it’s killing them! And so are Florida’s anti-environment government policies…)”
