“Zurich is small, (well, Switzerland is small!) and the Swiss are known for their engineering. Enjoy it first hand by being timely to a morning train to get to Lucern, take the historic steamboat across the lake to Rigi, a small but beautiful mountain, and take a funicular (vertical train) for a spa day or a hike (or both!) complete with Swiss mountain cows (enjoy the sounds of their cowbells) and views that the Swiss love dearly. Eat lunch at one of the huts! A perfect day.”
