Arbitrary Stupid Goal

“Before I ever went to NYC, a friend of a friend recommended Shopsin's and sent the New Yorker profile about the restaurant. We read this article closely and went, careful not to ask any questions. 15+ years later, I read Arbitrary Stupid Goal, a memoir about Tamara Shopsin's life, growing up in NYC in the 70's. I adore thsi book and in fact, it’s my most gifted book of all time. If you know me and we're on a book giving basis, I've given you this book. Read this.”
