MorrisFirst to rec“this is the good stuff. an esteemed room refreshener. i've heard it said that the french have been using this in hotels for many moons, although i haven't encountered it in the wild. imparts the impression of old library books without the dusty must, softly scented of vanilla and powder. this rose variation was created by francis kurkdjian, of bacarrat rouge fame. it is delightful. tear off a sliver, fold into an accordian shape and ignite. i highly recommend leaving the room during its short burn time, as i've heard that the paper itself has been dipped in raw benzoin which is a known carcinogen in certain amounts. better safe than sorry, plus i prefer the experience of walking into the scent after it's had a chance to fill the room.”
