“The first time, I didn’t know how to grow it from a stick, and it died. I kept it in water, then planted it outside in the winter, but it didn’t survive a night of freezing temperatures. Do not do any of those things, btw. This summer I was successful and grew not 1 but 3 of these stocks 🥹. A local gardener told me to use a gallon bucket container and place 1-2 inches of soil at the base so the bottom tip touches soil and the rest of the diameter surrounding the stock should be rocks or gravel.”
