“I’ve seen mixed reviews about this series, but I enjoyed it. Paolini started writing it when he was a teen, so it may appeal to a younger audience too. It draws on a lot of the popular fantasy world building stuff: elves, dragons, dwarves. There is a newer book in the series called Murtagh (that may actually be one of my favorites from the series) but the other books need to be read first.”
