RachelFirst to rec“I get it, it’s going to be weird at first to be naked with friends and strangers. But then, it starts to feel freeing — everyone is the same when naked. Get a Groupon coupon to save some money. Set aside a large chunk of the day to be there. Bring a friend or friends. The moment you get there, sign up for a slot to get a scrub down or a massage. Enjoy the baths, try out the different rooms, and eat some piping hot sundubu jjigae, a roasted egg, or bibimbap. Bring a book and a water bottle.”

Anna Songsong“The level of relaxation is unmatchable. It will get you through a freezing January, it will steam away your work stress, it will bring you back to the now. Things to know: $80 to stay for an entire day (although they normally have deals- $59 for a weekend right now) No clothes allowed in the wet areas (scary I know but it actually feels amazing) Cycle through the hot tubs, cold tubs (seriously don’t miss those they’re the best), and steam rooms, then don the roomy pajamas they give you and enjoy the dry saunas and lounges. Play a game, eat at the cafe, read a book. This location is one of my favorites in the area. It has 3 levels and you can get a little lost in the most cozy way.”

Hannah“incredible Korean spa in NJ with a free shuttle from midtown! Spend the day in saunas, steam room, baths, and this extra hot sauna called The Oven that’s over 250°. The soft tofu soup was also yummy. I wanted to steal the uniform”

April“Seconding this rec and the advice. Once you get used to the nudity in the bathing areas it is a great experience. Plenty of room and they provide the things you need. The lunch is great and you can go alone or with friends. They are on Groupon.”
