“You live by the banks of my stream of thoughts. My water grows your garden, washes your clothes, scrubs your house clean, Yet why do you not have time? To sit still by my side? I’ve been waiting, patiently, as the years add on to the last I’ve never seen your face But I remember its reflection. Your wobbling image working your youth away. Getting further away from my reach. I can’t carry your loneliness too. The added cruelty of your burden From one shore to another So pick a side, for any would do but please do come to watch the sun glisten on my skin turning my blues golden Tell me, Do you not see god?”
