“Not to be confused with the more modern Japanese magazine focused on Gyaru fashion, Egg Magazine was a New York alt-culture publication known for downtown fashion, nightlife and cross-over music coverage. Ultimately, it was too cool and specific for its own good, shuttering after about one year.
