Rachel HellestoFirst to rec“"I read a few pages of a book and then do very serious–unserious morning pages in bed—one to three pages, postcard-to-a-friend style about what I did yesterday, what I’m doing today, what the weather’s doing, where my dog is." Reading this was HUGE for me. I got so stuck in the whole idea of -writing- instead of actually writing a single word, but a few pages of what I use to call "journaling" and it doesn't need to profound or even interesting. Just pen on paper, and it makes me feel like I'm starting my day with something valuable.”
