“@Zoe reminded me of this and yeah, Bobby Fingers is a mad genius and if you haven't seen it, you're gonna want to check out his entire YouTube channel. He documents the building of these incredibly detailed dioramas of embarrassing celebrity incidents, not only the Mel Gibson one but also of Steven Seagal getting choked out, Michael Jackson's hair catching on fire, and Fabio on a rollercoaster getting hit in the face by a goose (which later led to this crossover video featuring Adam Savage and the Slow-Mo Guys). But there's also bizarre asides and musical numbers and at the end he buries each diorama somewhere and lets people find them based on clues in the video. Also he apparently wrote an entire tie-in romance novel for one of them. Incredible and insane stuff, top to bottom.”
