Valley Girl

“She’s from the Valley. He’s from Hollywood. A love story for the ages and an incredible soundtrack on top of a look at LA and the Valley.”

“It’s 1983 and Nicolas Cage has come from Hollywood (“over the hill”) to save you from your maudlin San Fernando existence. As a born and bred valley girl, this one’s a cultural artifact as well as a campy Lynchian pre-Clueless. “She’s cool. He’s hot. She’s from the valley. He’s not.””

“Romantic. Stupid. A perfect 80s time capsule. Nice Cage is genuinely hot. Requires less than 0 brain cells to enjoy. You will love it. Stream the entire absurd, feel-good soundtrack on spotify at your next sleepover”
