“If you like seeing classic movies in theaters and aren’t already on it, you may want to get yourself on Fathom’s email list. I’ve taken my kids to see This Is Spinal Tap, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Stop Making Sense, and now Ocean’s Eleven in theaters, and there are upcoming showings of Citizen Kane, The Fifth Element, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Pan’s Labyrinth (!), Rocky, and The Maltese Falcon. They’ve also been running a Studio Ghibli Fest that includes upcoming showings of (among others) My Neighbor Totoro, Princess Mononoke, and Spirited Away.
(Also, someone at Fathom must be working on getting Master and Commander into theaters for an upcoming Father’s Day at some point, right? Right? Who do I talk to about this.)”
