    “I traveled to Ghent somewhat on a whim. It was a stop between two locations and the NYT did a 36-hours in Ghent article that piqued my interest. It’s a beautiful small city - but one of its most remarkable features is the Ghent Altarpiece - Adoration of the Mystic Lamb. It’s a gorgeous polyptych (new word for me!) that is considered the first oil painting. The lamb’s face restoration is worth looking up…”
