Tubi doesn’t spend its money made from ad revenue on Tubi originals (though there are plenty of gems like The Lesbian Homie) instead Tubi acquires the back catalog that major streaming platforms are going away with. In doing so Tubi has an incredible selection of classic films primarily predating the 2000s alongside hosting some of the greats like Alfred Hitchcock and John Woo. A perfect service when I want to watch a random 1970s film.”
