“Don’t limit yourself! This applies to other things too (I’m specifically thinking about watching movies). Life is too short to be caught up in small mindedness, to care what other people think about what your favorite genres are, and to consume entertainment you find just downright boring. If you are just consuming it to fit in and realize it isn’t your vibe, you are allowed to stop. If you read classics, that’s fine! If you read romance, that’s fine! If you read science fiction, that’s fine! Etc etc! You don’t need to devalue what you (or someone else) is reading or watching just because it’s different.”
