“Easy, delightful. It is so rare to find a cute, low-stakes romance that is well-written!! She uses whom correctly!! This book isn't in a hurry. There is no rush to get through the lazy scenes and hit the juicy stuff. It's present, relaxed, and positively luxuriates in the boredom of summer and teenagerhood. Take a break. Read this book.”

“i don’t have a lot of prerequisites for a summer book, other than it has to either keep me entertained or make me feel something. this one is a perfect pool-side, picnic, beach read. coming-of-age, being a teenage girl, sexuality, queerness”
