“Rosewater Market is tucked inside an old house on a quiet side street in Edgartown. I stopped in twice during our stay — once for an afternoon coffee and once on an early morning walk into town.
The mornings were my favorite. Locals stopping in for coffee, kids still in pajamas, bikes leaning against the fence, and a soundtrack that felt more Portishead than beach-town playlist. It gave the whole place an unexpectedly cool, lived-in feel.
I had a hot coffee and everything bagel one day, coffee and a snack the next, and both were excellent. The indoor space is charming, the brick patio is lovely, and the shelves are filled with thoughtfully chosen food, gifts, and little discoveries.
Part market, part café, part neighborhood gathering place — the kind of spot that makes a town feel like a community.”
