“8/10. This album continues Bowie’s reflection on 9/11. Songs like Nee Killer Star and Fall Dog Bombs the Moon explore the broken and healing New York City that he now called home. Some of my favorite songs are Pablo Picasso, Never Get Old, Days, and Bring Me the Disco King. On the tour for this album, Bowie would experience chest pain, which was initially diagnosed as a pinched nerve. A few days later though, he suffered a severe heart attack and was forced to cancel the remainder of his tour. Following these health issues, Bowie lived a much more secluded life, due both to his health and the fact that he wanted to spend more time with his daughter. He would still occasionally appear in movies and make guest appearance in concerts, but he wouldn’t release another album for 10 years and he would never tour again”
