RishFirst to rec“In the aftermath of another Super Bowl and another Super Bowl halftime show, I found myself revisiting the greatest Super Bowl halftime show we have ever witnessed. Prince came out swinging with high-energy renditions of "We Will Rock You" and "Let's Go Crazy." In his blue suit, he would perform a dense set containing "Baby I'm a Star", "Proud Mary", and "All Along the Watchtower." Then, as the rain picks up, the lights dim, and Prince dons his iconic purple guitar, the stage is illuminated in purple, and Prince begins the 5 greatest minutes of live music ever recorded. With the rain pounding, Prince's silhouette is cast on a 20-foot sheet as he begins his iconic guitar solo. As tens of thousands of people sing the iconic outro, drenched in the Miami rain, it's hard not to feel the power that music has to bring people together. That power is shown beautifully in this performance, and perhaps that is something we need right now. Go watch this right now if you haven't yet.”
