That weird redemption for the Von Tussle ladies where?) and adds in the right stuff (Ladies Choice! Little Inez winning Miss Teenage Hairspray! That little riff James Marsden does during It’s Hairspray!) to move the story along. Unironically John Travolta’s best work. I could actually cry thinking about the final scene when Christopher Walken says, “Do it now! Or forever wish you had!” and Miss Edna struts out and sings about how much she loves herself. Perfect movie!!!”
