Tumble Leaf

“This was a favorite show when my daughter was a toddler and it still is so sweet. It reminds me of a claymation Calico critters who live in a magical world by the beach. It’s very gentle and kind of Waldorf-esque. I also didn’t find it annoying like some other popular options. Only drawback is * I think * it’s only streaming on Prime 😬😬😬”

“An instant win in my home! These days, it’s tricky to find children’s media that’s artful—something crafted slowly, with real heart and real materials. Tumble Leaf fulfills everything I’d want for a show. Imaginative, gorgeous, silly… and made by hand! This behind-the-scenes video goes into how they created the stop-motion and phew, what a reminder that nothing can replace the beauty of creating meaningful entertainment with real humans.”

“This show is SO cute. It came out in 2014, but you can watch it on Prime. The stop animation is well done, the characters are silly and sweet, and there’s nothing not to like!”

“The sweetest, slowest show with amazing stop motion animation.”
