“I often treat myself to Amma’s lunch buffet after I drop my kid off at preschool. They are strictly vegetarian and vegan, so you won’t find meat here. They have different stuff on rotation. What you’ll find on my plate is paneer butter masala (there is no shortage of chunks of paneer here), beet poriyal, coconut onion raitha chutney, payasam, onion pakora, and kesari. On extra special days, you can find gulab jamun - my mom would make this for me and I am way too excited when I see a pan of this at their buffet. Don’t let the cracked banquette seats and location in Roselawn scare you off. Amma’s is a gem.”
