“Ok, so I get that the title might be polarizing. But I think if it feels that way, it is worth asking why? In a very deeply researched way, the text explores how nuclear family structures uphold systems of power that are worth examining. As someone who thinks a lot about queer found family and alternatives to cishet family, I found this book really worth its weight.”
