“An underrated gem in the NPS. Free entry, miles of boardwalk through the old-growth hardwood forest, dog and kid friendly. It has amazing biodiversity, but the trees are the stars - towering pines, spooky cypress knees. Each spring, the park allows visitors in to view the synchronized flashes of fireflies at dusk.”
