“This restaurant that feels as though it’s existed forever, because in many ways it has. The façade on Rue Saint-Honoré dates back to 1823, and the entire place leans fully into that old-world Parisian grandeur—dark wood, low lighting, proper tableside service, and a menu that feels gloriously untouched by food trends. The best things on it sound like they could’ve been ordered 40 years ago and probably should be ordered 40 years from now: sole meunière, steak au poivre, bone marrow, tartare. A very reassuring reminder that not every restaurant needs reinvention. Also - the scallops changed my life.”
