“Cosmos! The easiest and loveliest fairytale flowers. These don't have the best vase life as a cut flower, but if you dead-head/harvest frequently they grow with zero fuss and are incredible. I direct sow them 9" apart. Varieties I like best in Zone 7b: + Cupcake (pink and white) + Afternoon White (best vase life) + Bright Lights (wild-looking and orange - lovely) + Rubenza (if you like burgundy) **Special mention - Apricotta/Lemonade/Versailles: I love the look of these and still grow them, but they don't tend to do as well for me. The Double-Click are my least favorite in colors as well as their floppy tendency.”
