Traci FlemingFirst to rec“SJ Axelby was training to become an interior designer when the pandemic arrived. Unable to leave her house, she started to paint the interiors she had been hoping to create. This led to the founding of the Room Portrait Club, where each Saturday, she posts a photograph of a room on her Instagram as a call for others to create their own image of it, in whichever way they choose. Most often, there is a pencil sketch or painted interpretation, but she has also received sculptures, and one artist has embroidered a portrait every week! *featured in The Wonderlyst #21”
