Paloma“Did you know the NYPL has a circulating collection of pictures? You can go leaf through thousands and thousands of photos and illustrations and pictures——sorted by topic!——in room 119, the picture collection room at the Schwarzman branch. No appointment needed, and if you have a library card you can check out up to 60 pictures at a time. One of my favorite classes last year borrowed its name——Picture Collection——from this beloved archive and we had a wonderful afternoon leafing through together in the reading room.”
