“My sweet beloved Bar Restaurant. A sorely missed spot from perpetually cursed chef/restaurateur Doug Rankin. Sorry Doug but you've got three whole ass restaurants on this list.
This place was hot as hell but never really recovered after the pandemic. That and it has, an albeit funny, one of the worst possible names you could cook up.
This was, much like Doug's other bangers, one hell of a creative menu.
The moules frites with CURLY FRIES
The frisée salad served atop a giant TATER TOT
The chicken liver mousse with WHITE CHOCOLATE
The pork tonkatsu with WAKAME BÉARNAISE
Those dishes and that balcony will be in my heart forever.”
