“Shetland…an atmospheric procedural goat. Takes place on the northernmost islands off of Scotland, which are pretty much in Norway. Everyone wears thick sweaters and drinks tea and goes to pubs and solves island crimes. Fab watch on a foggy night!”

“Setting alone would have me hooked, but the characters are richly drawn and acted. Leads change in more recent seasons and while a loss, it also gave the show a bit of new life (and always appreciate more women leads).”
