War of the Worlds (2005)

“What’s fun about this movie is how many things don’t quite make sense. Why is his son so desperate to hang out with the army? Is the climax with Tim Robbins really earned? WHAT are they doing with the blood? But it’s sweeping and dramatic and exciting, and Dakota Fanning is obviously amazing. No wonder they were just putting her in everything. I am kind of obsessed with the aliens once you see them outside of their machines, super cute.”
