Mister Miracle is Jack Kirby’s “Super Escape Artist” who “Escaped Death Itself!”, one of THE NEW GODS. The obvious analogy is overt, awkward, possibly not in good taste.
This comic won a bunch well deserved awards, and it has more Los Angeles traffic in it than you might expect.”
