“Originally published as The Death of Grass. In this 1956 vision of the future, all wheat and grass based crops fail, and society brutally collapses. This is an early "cozy catastrophe" story...where the protagonists hunker down and attempt the weather the storm in a remote locale. I'd also file this under "eco-apocalypse".”
