The world Le Guin's spins is fascinating, her character's are magnetic, and the philosophy of magic intensely poetic. I first read this book (and 5/6 books in the series in 2025) and expect I'll be re-reading them every few years moving forward. If you like fantasy (or are fant-curious) and haven't read Earthsea, your future has excellent potential for becoming more meaningful!”
