“My Etsy collection of favorited jewelry is titled “BOWL OF FLAIR” bc when I was briefly a restaurant hostess, the manager didn’t understand the irony in Office Space (they offer employees a curated and mortifying bowl of decorative items to dip into and express their personal style.) So she made a bowl full of Forever 21 earrings, old battered brooches, padded headbands and other shit- all neutrals, btw- that we could add to our outfits to be festive. Anyway, if I was creating a bowl of flair, it would be full of niche 90s brand Fernella’s Jewels. A perfect name for a perfect business, and this is a perfect bracelet, only enhanced by its imperfections.”
