    “'this white french dual pitcher was the forerunner of the modern seltzer bottle. made of heavy white parisian porcelain, it is divided down the center into two separate sections — one would contain a sodium bicarbonate mixture and the other a solution of tartaric acid. when poured simultaneously through the two spouts, the result was carbonated water — seltzer.'”
