Reeds 'N Vibes

“On a Marion kick…Gunter Hampel is an 88 year old German vibraphone / multi-instrumentalist legend who played with John McLaughlin, Archie Shepp and more. Love how little info there is about this record, but it was released on Paul Bley’s Improvising Artists Inc. label (they still have an active website at improvart.com). Name, sound, cover, mystique all to relish in.”
