“If you're, like, horror movie curious, and/or feel like you're missing out on the horror movie lane of pop culture, but too freaked out to actually watch the movies, this is a really fun read. Actually I think it's a fun read even if you've seen the movies (I've only seen a few of the ones covered, definitely more of a weenie here, but I enjoyed all of the writing). Warning, it's still pretty graphic! But with words, not literal jump scares. Also has recs for books that are in the same sort of style or feel as the movies, which is cool!”
